Handheld gaming is getting cooler – UPERFECT Uplays C2 portable monitor
Hey everyone and welcome back to another video. I'm the gamer digest and I cannot be the only one who's excited to see how far gaming and Technology has come, just not even just in handheld gaming. I'm really excited to show you guys something today that I didn't necessarily know could exist in this capacity, perhaps for some of you it's new news too, but not only would I like to show that. But this is essentially what this is from Uperfect. I'm going to have it linked down below with a code if you guys want to check it out, but this is a 2K resolution portable gaming monitor.
It's 16 x 10, which you might find kind of interesting. I know I did. Honestly, I actually prefer 16 x 10 after getting my hands on it versus 16 x 9. It feels, if you will, much more premium now. One thing that's really interesting about it If you guys are familiar with laptops or our iPads, I guess. iPad laptop combinations where they can kind of do a bit of both. You're probably familiar with something like this that also acts as a case, but not only that it's completely removable on the back now it attaches by magnets.
Here's something I thought was really cool. Not only can you set it up like that, I know this is a horrible angle, guys, but if that looks fantastic, I'll show you guys that a little behind the scenes that looks absolutely fantastic on this.
Looking at it that way you'll see a near full monitor there, and then when you fold it up, as Magnus points out, that is now a very sturdy and solid 1440 120 hertz monitor.
I would love to show you guys some footage of one of my favorite FPS games that runs really well on the Asus ROG Ally here. I'll show you guys that game as well as Forza and I'd love To hear your guys' thoughts and opinions on it in the description down below
, but so far I've been honestly blown away. You have some sound options now, honestly, do not expect much when it comes to the sound I have Before it would go up to 100 to 60.
I'm just going to leave it at 60 for now, quite honestly, with something like this, a Bluetooth speaker would work wonders here because if you really think about it, they are really trying to keep it
that without the actual thing on the back it is smaller than the thickness of my finger and that means that in the speakers there's a portable battery.
All the HDMI plugs, which is what it goes, I'm actually using right now, but it goes from HDMI, your normal HDMI to mini HDMI and just uses USB-C, the portability of the battery. I'm honestly comparing it to the Asus when it's nice Of like if you would like to conserve as much battery as possible. Honestly, I would probably just suggest using a 60 hertz refresh rate. I would not suggest raising it up massively, but honestly, it's been pretty good. I'm going to play this here to show you guys some gameplay, here we're going to pleasure into a quick game, and I'm going to
try to center this so you guys can maybe turn it down a little bit.
But no, it's been really exciting for me and my friends just to see something like this exists. My main monitor that I use for my PC setup is 1440 x 165 hertz, and for me to have something that's incredible To have in a certain price range, and this is very similar to that you lose a little bit of picture right there, but I think at 120 hertz mode, you're really going to have to look somewhere between 160 and 160 The differences are not great.
I would love to hear if you guys are even interested in this at all. I thought the packages were fantastic. There's some packages in here that are not sponsored. I just thought the packages were great. I'm honestly
really excited for the next season, but let's jump in here and I'll show you guys this, I think that's it.
Maximum brightness here, now it does have a kind of a half wheel that sticks out a knob that you can push up or down. Apologies for the squeaky chair, only I would have had the flash on for me on the right, but um, unfortunately you I wouldn't be able to see the screen, in this case
I've been playing a lot of Wolfenstein to New Colossus on my Asus, so I'm kind of used to this.
For right now, I'm going to keep the talking quieter, just so you guys can kind of see Enjoy kind of the sound and the gameplay if you are interested, and even if you're not necessarily interested in the product itself, that's not the point of this video. I'm not trying to sell you on anything, I'm just trying to show what I think is really cool Tech, and I feel like this is not only at the top for handheld gaming, possibly right, you could have a very portable setup with an Xbox series, and Something like that an extremely
lightweight and portable Xbox with a super lightweight and portable monitor for like four or five hundred dollars.
That's incredible, I know a lot of people travel a lot, a lot of you truckers, you know what I'm talking about, I definitely hear you guys in the comments, and something like this is really cool, I can already imagine just throwing it into the side, putting it on your dashboard, and having a console-like experience on your handheld. It really does depend on the game too, so I wouldn't necessarily say that the Asus ROG Ally really meshes well with this screen due to the resolution, and I'll bring up a couple of reasons why, but if you prefer 1080, that's definitely a Super valid point for me the 2K resolution was good when I played Guilty Gear Strive.
I was able to achieve a very solid 60 FPS and use a 1440p resolution here, which I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do, but it worked really well with a lot of the lower tier games that are more pixelated, like for instance retro games, these games run really well on the higher resolution and can achieve decent frame rates, so this monitor. At first glance it might seem like Overkill for something like this, but it really just depends on what you're going to be playing, but so far I've been really hyped about this.
Surround is about to end here, and I'm going to head off and show you guys a few minutes of gameplay of this. I hope it runs well, this looks fantastic to me and the Xbox app uninstalled all the games that I had installed, I'm not entirely sure why.
But I'll show you guys a little bit of Wolfenstein here, which runs fantastic on the Asus ROG Ally. Honestly, I've beaten this game on the Nintendo Switch on the Steam deck, and now I'm beating it on.
This is such a fun game. It's always fun to have a game that's so well optimized that you can always rely on it to be Wolfenstein and Doom Eternal. Yeah, Doom 2016 as well. I would honestly say Doom 2016 is visually one of my most favorite looking games.
It's just a little bit more difficult, but yeah, it's very nice and refreshing to keep coming back to these fun games, but yeah, if you guys enjoyed today's video, I would appreciate a like subscribe if
you guys want to stay here and watch more videos like this.
I think for the next little while it's going to be kind of slower as I just test out the products I've been buying and receiving and kind of sending you guys some videos on what I've been doing with the hype from the Asus ROG Ally has kind of died down, most of the questions have been answered, so we're probably looking at maybe two to three a week right now, I'm hoping also that they can release something for the Nintendo Switch too so that we can get actual content out for that. Unfortunately, they're zip, but you know, it is what it is. We'll take what we can, but I appreciate every single one of you have a fantastic rest of your day.
